When conservative treatment has failed or you have a severe foot problem, we may recommend foot surgery. We always consider your age and activity level before making any recommendations.

Minimally invasive foot surgery

Dr. Simchuk has over 20 years of experience performing foot surgery for both children and adults. He is especially proud of the work he has done putting athletes back in the game quickly with the safest and most effective surgical treatments. We use minimally invasive procedures that put the least strain on your body and are more cost effective. Our goal is for you to have less pain, minimal scarring and a faster recovery time.

For your convenience, when a minor surgical procedure cannot be performed in our office, we operate at Grants Pass Surgery Center (right next door) and Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass.

Common surgical procedures we perform

  • Achilles tendon repair: to rejoin torn ends of the tendon
  • Arthritic joint replacement or fusion: to repair an arthritic toe joint
  • Bone spur excision: to remove a benign bony growth
  • Bunionectomy: to remove the bunion and realign the toe
  • Complete corrective surgery: for deformities
  • Diabetic limb salvage: to save a foot or leg by removing all infected and dead tissue
  • Hammer toe correction
  • Fracture repair: to realign fractured bones, which may include using fixations such as wires, plates, pins, rods or screws
